An Asian clothing line staged a fashion show featuring bridal wear and evening outfits.

Saiqa, in Upper Tooting Road, Tooting, sells contemporary designs, with the flagship store based in the borough.

Councillor Adrian Knowles, mayor of Wandsworth, visited the fashion show, which took place at the shop last weekend.

The couture clothing line first launched in 2005 and is the brainchild of fashion graduate Saiqa Nasar Majeed.

Saiqa has since gone international, with shops across the UK, Dubai and Pakistan.
