When reporting please also state the amount the 1,500 people caught watching television without a licence (fines) The type of people found guilty and the amount of cases that were dropped?
Also watching on the internet isn't live, as there is a 2minute delay anyways. One the website at tvlicensing it states; "You will not need a TV Licence to view video clips on the internet as long as what you are viewing is not being shown on TV at the same time as you are viewing it"
So always watch Tv on iplayer and never on a TV, in-fact get rid of your Tv altogether. I HAVE!

If you want to keep your Wide screen Tv and still not get into trouble for not having a license, it's simple. Remove all Boxes like freesat. Connect only a DVD or playstation. As long as you can't watch live Tv you are fine!
