Commuters swapped their suits for diving gear to highlight the impact of predicted sea rise levels.

The stunt took place at East Putney Underground Station, following a London Assembly report which said sea levels could rise to four metres by 2100.

This would cause East Putney Station to be submerged under water, alongside dozens of other tube stations.

Development charity Practical Action staged the event on Tuesday March 5 ahead of a training day taking place for climate change campaigners in Wandsworth.

The training day is taking place in St Paul's Community Centre, Inner Park Road, Southfields, from 10am on April 6.
