Numerous incidents involving falling trees have happened this week after strong winds
High speed winds caused a tree to smash through the roof of a conservatory.
The 25m Dutch elm came crashing down during windy weather on Monday evening, in Erpingham Road, Wandsworth.
Firefighters were called to the house at 7pm and found nobody was injured.
They ensured the site was safe before a building surveyor arrived.
The roof of the conservatory shattered during the incident.
Winds of 40mph were recorded by the Met Office on Monday.
It comes after a man was seriously injured by a fallen telegraph pole on the same evening.
Earlier on Monday, in Wimbledon, a 50ft crashed down on to a house, and a similar incident happened in Epsom, where a 200ft tree fell down on to a summer house.
