Firefighters: ''You don't expect to see a BMW on its roof.''
Police have launched an investigation after a BMW crashed into three cars and landed on its roof.
Firefighters and police were called to the scene in Holybourne Avenue, Roehampton, just before midnight this morning.
Witnesses said they saw three or four people flee the car after it smashed into a parked Ford Mondeo, Peugeot 206 and another car.
Nobody was in parked vehicles and all cars have been written off.
Firefighters said the road looked like "carnage", with debris strewn everywhere when they arrived.
A spokesman from Wandsworth fire station said: "It was a bit unusual for us, in that road, because it is so quiet.
"You don't expect to see a BMW on its roof."
Anyone with information should contact Wandsworth police by calling the non-emergency number, 101.
