Having a whale of a time: Kids in Battersea get arty for charity
Schoolchildren took part in an art week and donned red noses to raise money for charity.
Pupils at Belleville Primary School, in Webbs Road, Battersea, were visited by Artichoke Printmaking and learned how to use a printing press.
Their creations will be displayed at an exhibit in July at the Royal College of Art Dyson Building, Howie Street, Battersea, in July.
The art week was ran by Pinksie the Whale project, which was set up by a group of mothers to teach children about difference.
Funds were being raised for the Great Ormond Street Louis Dundas Centre and Comic Relief.
Elizabeth Oddono, running the project, said: "It finished on a real high.
"They were amazed that something as old as 5,000 years is still used by artists today. For them it was an incredible experience."
