A new art gallery all about cows is bringing the countryside to the city.

Lauren's Cows explores artist Lauren Terry's great love of the countryside through acrylic paintings of cows.

Terry is born and bred in North Yorkshire and moved to London two years ago, but still is inspired by where she hails from.

Wandsworth Times:

She first started out as an actress in theatre and television, only painting for a hobby in her spare time.

But when she painted a cow and a gallery owner saw it, she was invited to paint 20 more cows for his walls.

When people started purchasing her work she decided to take up painting professionally.

Terry uses acrylic paint and works from photographs she has taken.

A lot of her time is spent scouring the UK for cows and frolicking in fields to find her favourite cattle, which can sometimes prove tricky in London.

Wandsworth Times:

As well as the paintings she also creates prints, greeting cards and magnets.

This is the first time Terry has exhibited in London, with hopes you enjoy her cows as much as she does.
