Parkland open to the public has been opened in Mitcham.
A reception celebrating the opening of the park was held at Brenley Park, Tamworth Lane on April 18.
There is a green outdoor gym in the park as well as a children’s play area.
The Leader of Merton Council Stephen Alambritis, the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress and other councillors were among those attending.
The four-acre park is a part of the Brenley Park development by Brenley Park LLP - a joint development between Willmott Dixon and Notting Hill Housing creating 169 new apartments.
Brian Brady, managing director of Willmott Dixon Regen, said: “It is a particular pleasure to leave a long term legacy for Mitcham with this new parkland which residents and the wider community can enjoy for many years to come.”
Councillor John Bowcott, who also attended, planted a tree and unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.
