Commuters could have been forgiven for thinking they were dreaming about a bizarre version of One Man and His Dog last week following an unusual publicity stunt.
The peculiar PR exercise involved a black and white collie, called Tip, driving a flock of geese through oncoming traffic and across Putney Bridge at the behest of his gooseherd (someone who tends to geese).
The stunt was put together by property company Fulham Green, to welcome the dawn of spring and promote the opening of an office block across the Thames.
It took place at 5.45am last Thursday, April 25, while traffic was at a minimum, but the sheepdog nevertheless demonstrated his herding skills.
