A hallway, living room and dining room can all be found in the middle of a busy high street.

The Home Sweet Home pop up art commission, by architects Dallas Pierce Quintero, have built the domestic spaces in public areas across Balham.

It aims to highlight sites which are being given a makeover after being granted an Outer London Fund from the Mayor of London.

Visitors to Sainsbury's, Balham Hill, will find a dining room, while the post office forecourt, in Balham High Road, has become a garden.

Shoppers in Hildreth Street market can put up their feet in a living room and Balham High Road Railway Bridge is temporarily a hallway.

Consultation on permanent improvements being made took place earlier this year, including a public consultation event with 500 people.

The art instillation is running alongside the Wandsworth Arts Festival and Fringe, with designs for the spaces refurbishment going on display in Balham Library, Ramsden Road, until May 19.
