RSPCA Balham and Tooting looking to home cats
The RSPCA has been inundated with stray cats in desperate need of a home.
A total of nine cats are in need of re-homing from RSPCA Balham and Tooting in Thurso Street, Tooting.
Most of the moggies were strays or have been rescued from cruel situations, with some of the pets having been in the centre for six months.
In some examples the cats have been taken to the RSPCA because their owners cannot look after them anymore.
Some cats can be adopted individually, while others will need to be rehomed in pairs because they cannot be separated.
The ages of the pets range from one to 12-years-old, suitable for people after a young or older cat.
Lynne Davies, communications officer, said: "It really is heart breaking, because all these cats are absolutely lovely and have their individual little personalities.
"They all deserve to go to loving homes where they can get the love and attention they deserve."
