Review: Wanda visits Tooting's The Gorringe Park pub after major refurb
Tucked away on the fringes of Tooting you will find The Gorringe Park pub.
It has recently undergone a major refurbishment since the venue was overtaken by the Yummy
Pub Company and is one of those places that just keeps on giving - with secret rooms, beer gardens and a delicious menu.
Inside you will find comfy armchairs, open fires at winter and a well-stocked bar.
Whatsmore, there is a cinema in the basement, also available for private hire, which plays blockbuster films throughout the week so order up a bottle of the house vino and enjoy watching the likes of The Lady Killers, The Bourne Legacy or Dumb and Dumber.
Personally, I really enjoyed Magic Mike week.
There is also an impressive menu featuring bar snacks, burgers and roast dinners at the weekends.
I had to tear my eyes away from the delicious cakes also tempting customers on display at the bar.
Around the back you will find a lovely beer garden, decked with bunting, outdoor heating and sheltered booths.
A secret library and alchemy room above the pub have been developed for events, parties and meetings.
Ssh supper clubs also occasionally take place up here, where diners can enjoy themed meals like Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
