Tickets on sale for Battersea Park fireworks display
Tickets for the annual Battersea Park fireworks display have gone on sale.
The event this year will have a shrieks and skulls theme, with it falling close to Halloween.
Pyro-technicians Pains Fireworks will run the popular event, which was attended by about 43,000 people last year.
There will also be a food court and bar offering refreshments throughout the course of the event.
Entry to the event this year will be by advance ticket only, with cheaper tickets available for early buyers.
Tickets are priced at £6.50 until October 27, and then between October 28 to November 1 they will cost £8.
The tickets are available from the Millennium Arena in Battersea Park, the and the Civic Suite, in Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street.
Tickets will be on sale on the day until the gates open on November 2, but they will only be available online and cost £10.
Entry for children under 10-years-old is free, but they will still require a ticket.
Councillor Jonathan Cook, cabinet member for culture, said: "This year we will once again see one of London’s best parks host one of London’s best fireworks displays.
"Unsurprisingly the display is usually a sell-out so I would advise anyone who’s keen to go to snap up a ticket while they can."
