Arvoles Lloran por Lluvia comes to Battersea Mess and Music Hall
A new production combines music, performance, dance and digital media to bring to life Sephardic folk songs.
Arvoles Lloran por Lluvia features a live score from electro-acoustic chamber ensemble Sefiroth.
There will also be contemporary dancers and interactive design elements, focusing on love, loss and migration.
Six contemporary dancers represent the characters from Sephardic lore, taken from Jewish immigrants who left Israel to settle in the Iberian peninsular.
Arvoles Lloran por Lluvia; Battersea Mess and Music Hall, Lavender Gardens, Battersea; October 8-10, tickets £15; doors 7.30pm; billetto.
