Man arrested in Battersea flat murder investigation
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a 21-year-old found dead in a flat in Battersea.
Police officers found the man's body during a welfare check on a home in Lavender Sweep shortly before 9pm on Thursday, October 17. Next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination held on Friday gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the heart and lung.
A 30-year-old man was also found at the flat with neck injuries.
He was taken to hospital and is in a stable conditon, and has now been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
