Boy suffers 'terrifying attack' on train from Clapham Junction
Police have released CCTV images after a 15-year-old boy was attacked and robbed of his phone.
The teenager, of Middlesex, was travelling on a train between Clapham Junction and Isleworth on September 3 at 7.55pm.
At about 8.27pm two men boarded the train and asked him for the time.
The taller of the two men became aggressive, punched him in the head and demanded his property.
He was robbed of his iPhone 4, wallet, Oyster card and was left with a cut to the head, as well as scratches on his back and arm.
British Transport Police officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in relation to the attack.
It is believed the man is from Hounslow and was around the area at the same time.
Detective Constable Oliver Gilbert, leading the investigation, said: "This was a terrifying attack on a young boy who was left very frightened for his safety after this vicious and unprovoked assault.
"If you have any information about this incident, or recognise the man pictured, contact police immediately."
