Football and badminton tournament to raise money for civil war vicitims

A charity which raises money for victims of the Sri Lankan civil war is holding a football and badminton tournament.

All funds collected by V4U-UK charity will go towards vital rehabilitation and relief work in the Vanni area, in the north-west of the island.

The football competition will be adult seven-a-side while the badminton tournament will have three categories, beginners, men's doubles and over-40s.

The tournament is being held on December 8, from 10am-5pm, at The Aspire Centre, Southfields Community College, 337 Merton Road, Southfields.
