Police investigating an apparent murder and suicide have confirmed a woman died of strangulation and a man died of stab wounds.
The dead bodies of married couple Douglas Harry Morton, 61, and Carol French, 73, were discovered in Stormont Road, Battersea, on Wednesday morning.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death for Mr Morton as a stab wound to the heart, while Carol French died of compression of the neck.

It is believed Ms French recently returned home from rehabilitation after suffering from a stroke.
Mr Morton was reported to have been the former owner of a chain of fashion shops and Ms French was a women's magazine editor.
Police officers found the lifeless body of Ms French in a first floor bedroom, while the body Mr Morton was in the first floor bathroom.
The death of Miss French is being treated as suspicious, but the death of Mr Morton is being treated as non-suspicious.
Police from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched a murder investigation but confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
