The Vestry pub in Epsom has been saved from closure by a national pub company.
Stonegate Pub Company stepped in to rescue the pub from administrators and have helped secure 18 jobs at the pub.
Josh Massen, general manager at the pub, said: "They are a fantastic company and I am glad they brought it. I was not surprised that our pub would have been brought because it is a very busy pub."
The pub, owned by the Bramwell Pub Company had been trading in administration for the last two weeks.
Across Surrey the company owned about 10 pubs and all have been saved by Stonegate apart from the Pilgrim pub in Caterham.
Toby Smith, chief executive of Stonegate Pub Company, said: "We are delighted to have concluded the purchase of the Vestry and welcome the team to Stonegate.
"It is a fantastic site with great potential."
