The UK's biggest winter sports festival takes place this week.

Freeze Festival, which has moved from Battersea Power Station to Clapham Common, is a five day bonanza of winter sports and live music.

On Saturday the music line up includes French house producer Madeon, Idris Elba and electronic music duo AlunaGeorge.

Elba, who starred in BBC's Luther, plays legendary South African President Nelson Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which premieres in London next week.

But the 41-year-old, who rose to fame after starring in American cult TV classic The Wire, still loves to DJ, often under the stage name 7Wallace or 7Dub, and performed in South Africa earlier this month.

Clean Bandit, Toddla T and Nicola Bear will all be performing on the Ibiza Rocks in the Snow Stage.

Professional winter sports athletes are set to compete in the Hail The Rail competition, battling out to win the £14,000 prize.
