Indian Moment, in Northcote Road, Battersea, has been named Best Spice Restaurant London Outer and Suburbs at the ninth British Curry Awards 2013.
The ceremony was hosted by TV presenter Chris Tarrant and attended by top chefs, such as James Martin.
UK restaurants were hailed this week by the Prime Minister, David Cameron, for their annual £3.6bn contribution to the British economy and for employing more than 80,000 people.
The owner of Indian Moment, Abdul Milad, said: "Our whole team is thrilled with this award. All our customers know that we focus on quality and we are delighted that this was recognised."
Finalists were selected from 263,000 public nominations and were judged on points such as food presentation, wine list, exterior and interior decor, along with menu choice.
