Hundreds of visitors showed up to watch the lights switched on
Youngsters lit up Putney with a lantern procession through the streets to celebrate the Christmas lights ceremony.
Hundreds of visitors showed up to watch the lights switched on a 34ft Christmas tree in Church Square, Putney High Street, on Friday.
Christmas markets were set up in Church Square, while children could visit a Santa's grotto.
There was also entertainment from Putney Life Operatic, carols sang by schoolchildren and a carousel.
