A pedestrian suffered multiple injuries after being struck by a van.
The collision took place at the junction of Battersea Rise and Northcote Road, Battersea, on Friday.
Police and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene at 10.30pm.
A man was taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting, as a priority with head, chest and leg injuries.
A spokeswoman for the LAS said: "We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crews, a duty officer and London Air Ambulance by car.
"He was taken to St George's Hospital as a priority, accompanied by the medic from the air ambulance."
