Commuters are experiencing travel problems this morning due to a line fault which is affecting First Capital Connect services.

Overhead wire problems are causing disruption at Hendon, and this is having a knock on effect for trains on the Wimbledon loop – running through Streatham, Wimbledon and Sutton.

It is not yet known when the problem will be resolved but it is thought it will not be until at least 1pm.

Delays to journeys of up to 60 minutes can be expected with many trains cancelled.

And flooding is causing problems for passengers travelling through East Croydon station.

The flooding is in the Balcombe tunnel and is having a knock on effect for people going into central London.
