A series of events are taking place to support established and start-up businesses.

Wandsworth Enterprise Week, an initiative organised by Wandsworth Council, is taking place from February 3 to 8.

The event aims to help businesses flourish, through the help of free workshops, seminars and events.

Speakers include Laura Tenison, founder of JoJo Maman Bebe and Daily Telegraph columnist Rose Prince, who runs the Pocket Bakery from her home in Battersea.

Sam Harrison, who co-owns Harrisons, Balham, with Rick Stein, will also be offering advice.
Wandsworth Business Forum will be the borough's biggest ever networking event.

A Natwest Business Bus will tour Wandsworth on Monday and Thursday, inviting business advisers on board by offering free advice.

Kate Giles, founder of sports wear company Crewroom,  based in The Embankment, Putney will be one of the businesses at the event.

The business has recently been inviting start-ups to use the business hub free of charge.
She said: "At the moment we are trying to work a lot more closely with the council. This is a great initiative.

"We invited people in to use of place free of charge. That is a way to help grow a business, we are trying to create a hub down here.

"We started out with personal trainers, using the place for classes. They do stuff for us in return like free running classes."
