Wanda reviews The Exhibit, Balham

Wandsworth Guardian: The Exhibit, Balham The Exhibit, Balham

The weather is terrible and it is ruining my barnet.

However it is not getting in the way of me rooting out the best Wandsworth and Wimbledon have to offer and next on my list is The Exhibit, Balham.

The venue contains a bar, cinema and restaurant all rolled into one so you never need to leave the place.

Whatsmore, it is only a stones throw away from Balham train station, meaning you do not have to be outside for long.

The Exhibit Diner is located on the top floor, serving American style burgers, chicken wings and nachos.

Cinema-goers can take advantage of the £8 movie and a meal offer.

The cinema, on the second floor, shows cult films and blockbusters which you may have missed at the multiplex but are not yet out on DVD.

Recent screenings include About Time, Gravity and Rush.

On the ground floor you will find a large bar with plush leather sofas, perfect for relaxing on after a big meal.

Weekdays you will find workers enjoying early evening drinks, but during the weekend there is more of a party atmosphere with doors open until 2am.

Happy hour runs from 5pm to 8pm, which includes 2-4-1 cocktails, £12 for a bottle of house wine or £3.50 pints of Kirin.

There is also live music every Thursday, Beer Pong competitions, Speed Dating events and comedy nights.

This is not a review. It's a summary of what's on offer at the venue.

Some confusion here. The diner isn't on the top floor, it's on the first floor. The cinema is above it.

Sounds to me as though the 'reviewer' didn't visit at all!
