TfL have reported severe delays on the Overground between Stratford and Richmond, and also between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction to "prevent overcrowding".

Nevertheless angry commuters took to Twitter to vent their frustrations over train delays.

Emily Carewe wrote: "Not gonna lie, I'm quite enjoying this tube strike. High speed journey from Balham to Moorgate with only half the stops, and I got a seat."

While Ana Emilia Silva tweeted: "Let me share yet another #tubestrike moment. Clapham Junction feels like a festival, with queue breaks and all."

South West are reported some minor delays but no major problems.

On the roads, according to TfL traffic news, the A3 is moving slowly in both directions between Clapham Junction and Stockwell..

There is also heavy congestion on the A24 between Morden and Vauxhall.
