A project to rejuvenate Battersea Park's Old English Garden has been honoured in the BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards.
The Old English Garden, located north of the cricket pavilion, was brought back to life through the help of disabled charity Thrive.
Thrive uses the garden to teach disabled people skills to help find work or volunteering opportunities.
Disabled volunteers have helped bring the tired garden back to life, with support from garden designer Sarah Price and Jo Malone perfume company.
The project was awarded the runner-up prize by Countryfile Magazine, coming second to the RHS Garden at Wisley, Surrey.
Kathryn Rossiter said: "We are delighted to receive this accolade, particularly as this is a public vote.
"It’s a testament to the hard work of Thrive gardeners, volunteers and our horticultural therapists who have kept it looking so magnificent following the stunning design by Sarah Price."
