A man escaped unharmed from a flat fire in Battersea in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to Park Court, off Battersea Park Road, at 4am today.
A small fire had broken out in the living room of a flat.
Eddy Russell, red watch crew manager at Battersea fire station, said: "One person had evacuated by the time we got there.
"It just acts as a reminder to make sure smoke alarms are working properly and all exits are clear."
