Police have launched an appeal to trace £6,000 worth of jewellery stolen from a mother's handbag.
The 24-year-old victim was shopping in Sainsbury's, Tooting High Street, Tooting, with her mother and young child on January 17.
She placed her handbag in the basket underneath a pushchair carrying her child.
But when she went to pay for her shopping at the check-out she realised her bag was missing.
The bag contained cash, as well as necklaces, diamond rings, gold rings and gold bracelets worth £6,000.
PC Ben Winning, of the Tooting Town Centre Team, said: "The victim was carrying nine pieces of jewellery in her bag when she think it was taken from the buggy.
"If any jewellers or any members of the public have been offered any necklaces, rings or earrings that they are unsure the origins of then please contact police."
