Scam artists attached a Lebanese loop device to a bank machine in order to steal bank cards in Clapham Junction.
The device, attached to a machine at the post office in Lavendar Hill, was discovered by a keen-eyed PC on their way home from work on Wednesday evening.

Lebanese loops contain a hidden camera to film people’s PIN numbers being entered into the machine and are designed to capture the card.
The device will now be sent off for forensic testing.
Police said another Lebanese loop device was discovered at Sainsbury’s in Clapham Junction last week.
Neighbourhoods Chief Inspector Steve McSorley issued a warning and said: “Always keep your PIN hidden both from anyone looking over your shoulder but bear in mind devices like this.”
