A fundraising mum has gone head-over-heels for Sport Relief.
Judy Ireland, 40, cartwheeled around her son’s school to raise money for the charity.
The mother-of-four, who threw in the odd roly-poly for good measure, took seven minutes to make it round the grounds.
Ms Ireland wanted to raise money for Sport Relief because her 12-year-old niece Morgan Smith had cancer.
A germ cell tumour was discovered in her stomach that turned malignant.
Fortunately it was removed in August and Morgan has fully recovered.
Ms Ireland carried out the challenge at Tooting’s Franciscan Primary School, at 4pm on Thursday March 20.
After completing her final cartwheel, she said: "I’m really dizzy, I feel like I’ve been on the waltzers for a week.
"My ribs feel like I’ve just done ten rounds with Ricky Hatton.
"It was all worth it though because I know Sport Relief will help a lot of kids in the country.
"I also wanted to do it for the school because they’ve been really good to my kids."
Her three-year-old son Logan is in the first year of the school’s nursery, and her 18-year-old daughter Lacee was also a pupil there.
Both of her children were there to witness the challenge.
She said: "I think Logan was embarrassed at first, but then really proud I did it.
"He’s quite young so I think he was quite confused to be honest.
"I wanted to do something original that would make people smile, and I am glad I have done that."
She dressed in a illuminous pink wig and pink shorts, and staff laid out mats to make sure she had a soft landing.
The charitable mum, who lives in Tooting, managed to raise £180 in donations.
Sport Relief takes place between March 21 and 23, and encourages people to take up activities to raise money for children.
