Toddlers took to the stage for a special mother’s day performance.
Thirty five children from Busy Bees nursery in Wandsworth put on a Mothers Appreciation show for delighted mums and nans yesterday, March 28.
The main event was a version of thechildren’s book Monkey Puzzle, which tells the story of a chimp trying to find his mother.
The show was put on by three to five-year-olds, who each had a line in the play.
Two to three year-olds sang renditions of ‘Happy and You Know It’ and the ‘Barney’ theme tune.
The under two-year-old children from the nursery took part in a range of activities with their parents.
Proud mums watch on as their children perform
The nursery, in Smugglers Way, rehearsed the show for six weeks.
Busy Bees manager Christopher Langdon, said: "It was really positive, because the mum’s were so proud and appreciative.
"It was definitely worth it, the kids and their mums had a great time."
At the end of the show each child presented their mother with a painted canvas.
