So sad to hear RIP.
But what do you expect with the state of our roads - humps - chicanes - POTHOLES. I wonder if the driver knew - late at night in the dark if it was a cyclist and not one of the POT HOLES.

Shameful comment buggsie.

The driver almost certainly knew what he/she had done and ran away, just like the coward they truly are!
What's the betting they were drunk/drugged/banned and/or had no insurance?

Article in last nights Evening standard - of 2 recently killed cyclists - one was found to be almost twice over the drink drive limit - the other to have 'run' a red light. So it's not always the motorists fault.

I never said all cyclists were innocent. As a driver and motorcyclist (and former cyclist) of more than 30 years standing, I know the reality of the roads. However, the fact that the driver didn't stop, or hand themselves in, makes it pretty clear that he/she has something to hide.
