Murder detectives have charged a 15-year-old boy with the murder of a man in Roehampton.
The teenager, who can not be named for legal reasons, will in appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court later today.
The boy was arrested on Thursday, April 24, after a man in his late 30s was found with serious injuries in Huntingfield Road, Roehampton, at about 8.15pm on Tuesday, April 22.
London Air Ambulance attended the scene but the man, understood to live in the road, was dead on arrival.
He has not yet been formally identified.
A post-mortem examination was set to take place today at St George's Hospital Mortuary.
An incident room has opened at the Homicide and Major Crime Command under Detective Chief Inspector Charlie King.
Detectives want to speak to three young men seen ‘loitering’ in Roehampton just before the man was killed - but no descriptions have been released by police.
