Police were called out last night following a robbery at a shop in Putney High Street.

Officers were contacted at about 9.15pm after money was snatched from the till.

The Met deployed a helicopter to chase the suspect who they believed to be in his 30s.

MPS Helicopters tweeted: "Garden search for a suspect involved in a high value theft in SW15".

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the man was spotted on Norroy Road in Putney.

They confirmed the suspect wasn’t found and no arrests have been made.

Nobody was injured in the robbery.
