Fire fighters have taken time to offer help and advice to some of the borough's youngest citizens.
Officers were at Busy Bees Nursery, Wandsworth on Tuesday to give safety advice then give the little ones the chance to fire a hose, wear uniform and explore a fire engine.
Having a blast: The children had a great time using fire service equipment
Around 30 children took part in the event which was also attended by parents.
Soaking up the atmosphere: The children also got to wear fire helmets
Simi Sanya, deputy manager at the nursery, said: "They all had a brilliant time and they took to it with a lot of excitement.
"They learnt a lot as well, which is why we invited the fire fighters here."
