Today it is set to be hotter in south London than in Madrid, Istanbul or even Brazilian World Cup venue Sao Paulo.
The temperature has already reached 24C, according to the weather station at Rochester Lodge in Wallington, making it one of the hottest places in the country and the hottest day of the year so far.
Over the weekend people flocked to venues all over southwest London to soak up the rays.
But sunseekers will be well advised to enjoy the weather while it lasts as experts at the Met Office are predicting rain for tomorrow and the rest of the week.
Are you enjoying the weather today - or are you couped up at work looking out at it? Send your sunny pictures to digitalmedia@london.newsquest.co.uk.
