Three men broke into Tooting railway station and stole a safe containing cash.
Just before midnight on Friday, May 2, three men entered the station through the main entrance, loitered in the booking hall for a few minutes, and used a tool to force their way into an office where they stole a safe.
They used a small trolley to wheel the metal safe away.
Detectives from British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of men they wish to speak to in connection with the theft.
Detective Constable Rachel Smith, of BTP, said: “The men used a small trolley to wheel the metal safe away, which might have created quite a bit of noise and would have been an unusual sight that people may remember.
“Thankfully the station is fitted with CCTV cameras and I’m confident someone will recognise the men pictured, especially the two where we can clearly see their faces.
“I am very keen to speak to these men as I believe they might be able to greatly assist the investigation.
“If you think you know who they are, or witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to us, please give us a call.”
