Police are appealing for information after a woman in her 40s was sexually assaulted in Putney last night.
Officers were called to Putney Lower Common at about 9pm after the woman reported she had been assaulted while running on the heath.
The man grabbed her and attempted to pull down her jogging bottoms.
She pushed him away and he walked off in the direction of the Horne Way Estate.
Police said the woman was not hurt during the incident.
The man is described as white, about 16-years-old, with mousey brown hair cropped at the side and longer and spiked on top.
He was wearing blue, knee-length jogging trousers, a blue vest, a grey jumper tied around his neck and white Converse shoes.
He also wore diamond stud earrings.
