Football fans and movie buffs can enjoy outdoor cinema in the shadow of one of London’s iconic monuments.

Films and the Fifa World Cup final will be shown on a 9m screen to up to 250 people in a pop-up park in front of Battersea Power Station, as the developers link up with group Everyman Cinema.

It is the last summer the public will have access to the park area before regeneration of the 42- acre site.

Movies scheduled for airing include Wayne’s World, The Wolf of Wall Street, Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Drive, as well as the World Cup final on July 13.

Elsewhere in the park will be a bar area, pop-up street food vendors and more seating, to allow up to 1,000 guests.
