Short plays written by children for children were showcased by professional actors at a Battersea Primary School.
Actors from the Royal Court Theatre performed at Heathbrook Primary School on June 16 as part of a free tour of the country encouraging participation in the arts.
The plays were written by schoolchildren, aged eight to 11, from Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Southwark and Lewisham, as part of the Royal Court’s young writers festival and Peckham young playwrights project in 2012.
A selection of them were given full productions last year.
