Thousands of festival goers are preparing to descend on Clapham Common, as the popular public space plays host to the first ever Clapham Calling festival.
Boasting headliners such as rockers Aerosmith, and superstar Stevie Wonder, the event is expected to be a sell out on both Saturday and Sunday.
The festival, which started in 2006 under the name Hyde Park Calling, before changing to Hard Rock Calling, is coming to Clapham for the first time after a rebrand by promoters Live Nation.
Residents are warned to expect noise checks today and Friday, while transport in the area on the weekend is likely to be heavily disrupted.
In past years the festival has featured acts of the calibre of Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Sir Paul McCartney.
