A speaker with a stammer will discuss his condition at a talk at the Rotary Club of Putney next month.

Walter Scott, who recently gave a talk at the Michael Palin Centre in London, wants to engage with organisations about the condition, having recently joined the British Stammering Association.

He said: "It reflects the deep social values of the Rotary Club that they are willing to support a guest speaker who stammers.

"Openness is the key, and I believe that is ultimately the way forward for anyone who stammers."

The talk takes places at 6.30pm on July 14 at London Rowing Club on Putney Embankment.
