Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is appealing for new homes for its Jack Russell Terriers after the charity saw an influx of the little pooches.
The charity has taken in 196 Jack Russell Terriers already this year and currently has 22 in its care looking for new homes.
Rachel: A cheeky youngster who knows her own mind
Laura Weekley, team leader at Battersea, said: “If you want a dog full of character and energy, that is mischievous and fun then a Terrier may be for you.
“Regardless of the weather or the time of day, a Terrier will always be ready to go on a long walk and we’re looking for owners who can provide lots of physical activity.
"But owners must be ready to lay down some ground rules.
Paddy: Scruffy but handsome, with an insecure side
George: A smashing, affectionate boy
“Terriers are intelligent little dogs and will be quick to grab any opportunity and test the boundaries.”
Grommet: A chubby little bundle of love
