A 40-year-old man has been charged after a woman was stabbed with a broken bottle at a children’s barbeque.

A woman, in her early thirties, was stabbed in Allnut Way, Clapham on Wednesday, July 23.

Chadwick Ray Elliott, of Brookehowse Road, in south east London, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and assault by battery.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court today.
