Chelsea Andrews and Johnson Renford
The gathering, on the York Road Estate, was organised by residents and members of the Battersea Chapel.
One of the organisers, Mario Desouza, said: "I would call it a unity in the community. It brought everybody together. There was a fashion show and a small production done by the community.
Battersea MP Jane Ellison joined in the fun
"D Brown restaurant provided Caribbean food, there was a sound system and a nice variety of music. The children had a sports event in the park." He thanked organisers Pastor Leroy and Darren McCoy.
