Police are looking for two men after man was stabbed yesterday afternoon.
The man was stabbed near Macey House, Surrey Lane, Battersea, at about 1.20pm.
When police arrived they found a wounded 22-year-old man. He was taken to a West London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan police said his injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening at this stage.
A motive for the attacked is currently not known and enquiries are ongoing.
Police want to speak to two black men who were seen at the location when the incident occurred. Both were wearing hooded tops and made off along Ursula Road in the direction of Battersea Park following the incident.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We sent a single responder in a car, an ambulance crew and a duty officer to the scene. We treated a man reported to be in his twenties for stab wounds. He was taken as a priority to hospital.”
He was unable to say which part of the man’s body was injured.
