Thousands of cyclists will zoom through Putney this Sunday as part of the Prudential RideLondon.
Between 7.30am and 7pm road closures will be in place around Tibbets Corner, Putney Hill and Putney High Street. Putney Bridge, which is currently closed for repair work, will open especially for the cyclists.
About 24,000 amateur cyclists are expected to tackle the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, a 100-mile challenge ride on closed roads through London and Surrey.
Later that day, 150 of the world’s best professional men will race against each other in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic, an extended 200km version of the amateur route.
Only central London will be affected by road closures for Prudential Ride London FreeCycle on Saturday, August 9.
