Wandsworth’s growing reputation has got even better, with news the area contains some of the friendliest and most sought-after places in London and the entire country.

One part of the borough highlighted as being particularly friendly is Battersea’s Northcote Road or "nappy valley" as it is known by residents.

The area has been identified as being "relaxed easy-going places where one could feel confident of a warm welcome".

Balham is another area in demand for its quality of life and the connections.

For one, there are a selection of schools that have been pointed out as being some of the highest achieving schools in the country as well as its transport links.

Wandsworth proves itself to be even better when showing off that 95 per cent of its local schools are rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.

Councillor Ravi Govindia, leader of Wandsworth Council, said: "Wandsworth boasts some of London’s best loved parks and green spaces. Crime rates are the lowest in inner London while local services are ranked among the best in the country. It’s no surprise that the borough is viewed as such a great place to live."
